🍂 Spring & Fall Cleanups
A thorough reset of the yard twice a year: clearing winter damage and old growth in spring, and getting leaves, beds and plants ready for winter in fall.

October brings the crowds to Sleepy Hollow, and it also brings down the leaves from some of the oldest oaks in the rivertowns. We keep yards here mowed, trimmed and clear from the first spring cut to the last fall pass.
Sleepy Hollow, which went by North Tarrytown until 1996, packs a lot of variety into a small village. Philipse Manor has curving streets of established homes with deep lawns and long hedge lines. Sleepy Hollow Manor sits higher up toward the Rockefeller State Park Preserve, with more woods and more shade. Closer to Beekman Avenue the lots are tight, and down by the river the newer homes at Edge-on-Hudson are still growing in their first plantings.
For most owners here the job is regular care done well: weekly or every-other-week mowing, crisp edges, shaped shrubs and a fresh layer of mulch in spring. Our family-run crews handle that on a set route, and new maintenance customers usually start within one to two weeks. We speak English and Spanish, so whoever in the household is home can explain what the yard needs.

Learn more →Mature oaks and maples line much of Philipse Manor and the streets near the Pocantico River, and they drop leaves well into November. Rather than one big cleanup, we schedule passes as the trees let go, blow out beds and corners, and haul the leaves away so lawns do not sit smothered going into winter.
Long privet, yew and boxwood hedges give many Sleepy Hollow homes their look, but they get leggy fast if skipped for a season. We trim them on a regular schedule to keep a dense, even face, and we can bring an overgrown hedge back gradually over a couple of seasons instead of cutting it to sticks.
Homes at Edge-on-Hudson and other recent builds often sit on thin, compacted fill. Those lawns need steady mowing at the right height, overseeding in early fall and patience while roots develop. We set up a lawn care plan that suits a young yard and adjust it as the turf thickens over the first few years.
With big oaks overhead, most yards need at least two fall visits, and some need three. Oaks hold their leaves later than maples, so a single cleanup in early November often leaves a second layer behind. We look at your trees at the estimate and suggest a schedule that fits.
Yes. Depending on the plant, we either reduce it in stages over two seasons or do a harder cut at the right time of year so it fills back in. Yews and privet usually recover well. We will tell you honestly if a hedge is too far gone and talk about replanting.
Yes. Our team is bilingual, so you can set up service, ask about the bill or explain what you want done in Spanish or English. You can also reach us by phone, text or WhatsApp at (914) 467-9927, whichever is easier for your family.

“Roman and his team went above and beyond expectations. They cleared an almost 2000 sq ft area in our back yard of brush and vines that were 3-5 feet high in some places, including thorny bushes. There were also 10 trees that were overgrown with vines that they cleaned up, completely detaching vines from trees to not allow any future growth.”
